Hokkaido, the north island of Japan, is a natural wonder with nature taking center stage. The flowers here have little time to shine as the snow covers the land for 7 months a year but when they do come out, the variety and colors are pretty spectacular. My photography, less spectacular…Lupine (or Lupins) dot the Niseko landscape as they thrive in Spring time cool, wet conditions. These are Lupines were planted at The Orchards Niseko, near the pond, many years ago….
